Other Care & Support Initiatives
Helping Hands
Our new Helping Hands Ministry is a practical way to support and serve those in our congregation who may need an extra hand. Whether it’s offering a ride, assisting with light housework, or providing companionship during a visit, this ministry is all about meeting the everyday needs of others. By signing up, you’re expressing interest in offering a helping hand when these needs arise—there’s no obligation to commit to every request. This ministry is open to members of our congregation, and your willingness to serve will make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Join us in showing the love of Christ through acts of kindness and support!
Foster the Family
Foster, Adoptive, Kinship Moms are invited to join a Foster the Family Support Group.
Monthly, in-person meetings provide regular opportunities for foster, adoptive, and kinship moms to experience connection and mutual support.
Groups are peer led by caring and experienced foster/adoptive/kinship moms. Each meeting includes a video training on relevant topics from a variety of voices-experts in foster care and trauma; other foster, kinship & adoptive moms, former foster youth, and virth mothers-and centers around guided, small group discussion.
The group meets the second Wednesday of every month from 6:30 - 8:00pm at Silver Creek Church in Room 119. Childcare is available.

Sign up to express your interest in joining a meal train and be a blessing to those who could use some extra care and nourishment. Signing up for the team by no means obligates you to help with any or every request. It just provides a pool of people we can reach out to when a need arises.

Whether it’s sending birthday cards, notes of encouragement, or prayers to those in need, this ministry allows you to make a meaningful impact. Signing up simply lets us know you’re interested—there’s no obligation to commit to every request. Join us in sharing the love of Christ through the simple yet powerful act of sending a heartfelt card!
